Enamel is a very fine powdered glass. A torch is used to melt it onto the metal. In this case, the metal is hammered coins. The edges still show the coin details. I hand hammered the coins and used a torch to melt the glass on to the tops.
Earrings are about 1.25 inches long from top of ear wire to the bottom.
